"STEM Journal Publishing: What's an Editor to Do?"
Panel Discussion in the UW Libraries Research Commons on Tuesday, April 12

UW faculty editors on the panel include Valerie Daggett, Bioengineering; Jody Deming, Oceanography and Astrobiology; Richard Ladner, Computer Science and Engineering; and Randy LeVeque, Applied Mathematics. Kelly Edwards, Associate Dean of the Graduate School, will moderate.

A panel discussion for graduate students, post-docs, and librarians.  The discussion may include questions about peer review, ethics, getting that first paper published and non-traditional content (datasets, videos.) The event is particularly aimed at the needs of graduate students and postdocs in STEM fields, but all are welcome to attend.
