NOISE ALERT: Electrical Work to Install Outlets on First Floor Begins April 30

Project to install more outlets on first floor.

Electricians will be in the building beginning Monday, April 30 to install outlets on the first floor.  This work follows the outlet upgrades that are nearly complete on floors 2-4.

Work will occur during open hours.  The project involves drilling into brick and concrete, so please be aware that there will be noise in the library, especially in the morning.  We expect the project to take approximately 2 weeks.  Please pardon the disruption.

Outlets will be added around the perimeter of the floor, along the windows in the Reference Area on the northeast side of the floor.  Retractable pull-down outlets will be added above the study tables.
